Real Food Wythenshawe have a created a new short film which brings to life the impact and legacy of the project through the story of a local Wythenshawe resident Liz.
The short film, produced by Oropendola Productions Ltd, helps to reinforce Real Food’s message of a healthier lifestyle ‘Grow it, Cook it, Eat it’.
Liz visits the Real Food kitchen in the indoor market every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime, to taste the recipes of the day and take home a copy of the recipe to make herself. When fresh herbs are required for the recipe she visits the Edible Interchange in Wythenshawe Town Centre to pick the free fresh herbs available.
She has lost a substantial amount of weight and now readily admits she enjoys cooking rather than buying “ready meals”.
She now has a healthy diet and has seen an improvement in her health, energy and happiness.
