Business start-ups and enterprise

To allow the people of Wythenshawe to enjoy reasonably priced, sustainably produced and locally grown food Real Food Wythenshawe aims to encourage the development of food businesses, social enterprise and local markets.

Throughout the five-year Real Food Wythenshawe programme there will be emerging ideas for sustainable food businesses from community bakeries, to fruit and vegetable box schemes to making raised beds for residents. We will support people to set up social enterprise and local businesses by signposting to small grants and providing support to ensure long-term financial stability.

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group’s Enterprise Centre provides incubation workspace, advice and support for business start-ups all of which will be accessible through Real Food Wythenshawe Enterprise Scheme.
